Casita Rentals was built on faith, family, and the idea that a vacation home should feel like home.
A Leap of Faith and a Family Dream
We’re Andrew and Celia, and while we’ve spent years in real estate, Casita Rentals began with something far more personal than business. It started with our daughter, Andrea—a determined young woman with a heart for animals and a dream of becoming a veterinarian.
When she was in high school, she told us that God had placed it on her heart to attend college in Texas. As lifelong Washingtonians, that was a big leap of faith. She didn’t know a single soul there, but she felt deeply called to go—and so she did.
Her journey led her to Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, a coastal campus surrounded by sun, palm trees, and Gulf breezes. That’s where the seed for Casita Rentals was planted.
From One Casita to a Coastal Collection
We wanted Andrea to have more than just a dorm room—we wanted her to have a home. A place to gather with friends, cook meals, study, celebrate, and create memories that would last long after graduation.
So, we bought a house just minutes from campus. It was the roughest one on the block—but with a lot of heart (and plenty of late nights), we transformed it into a warm, welcoming space she could truly call her own. Andrea even designed the interior herself.
One home led to another… and then another. Before we knew it, Corpus Christi wasn’t just Andrea’s college town—it had become a second home for our entire family.
Why “Casita”?

In Spanish, casita means “little house”—a name that captures the warmth, charm, and sense of welcome we strive to create in every space.
